NO PLAGIARISM Question 1: In the last three decades the advent of the internet (and social media) has completely changed our societies and our social existence as individuals living in societies. Explain how Lenski, Marx, Weber and Durkheim would explain this social change. Please try and incorporate the ideas discussed in the slides and your book, as much as possible in your response. Which of the four perspective do you feel best explains the social change ensuing the start of the internet (and social media). Question 2: 13 percent of the urban population in Pakistan is living below the poverty line. Using the Freud’s ‘theory of personality’ and George Mead’s ‘theory of self’ please explain if poverty will have an impact on the development of the 'personality' and a 'sense of self' among children that are born in families living below poverty line in the urban areas of Pakistan.
