Part 1: Think about a time that you did something you should not have done, for example, cheating on test, taking something you knew you were not allowed to have or doing sth illegal like drinking when you were underage. Briefly describe the situation and then elaborate whether or not you used techniques of neutralization before you acted. If yes: What were the techniques you applied? If no, why do you think you did not have to rely on techniques of neutralization? Write a 500 words. Part 2: Discuss whether or not Danielle Allen's cousin fits within the paradigm of the General Theory of Crime. Focus on whether or not he lacked self-control and what other explanations could be developed for his criminal behavior. Write 400 words
