InstructionHi Class, Please read carefully Our midterm exam is the week of July 5 and takes place on the day of our regular class session. The test will be available in the “Assignment” area. Called “NAT161 Midterm”. It should be at the top of the list. The Exam: The exam is an individual exam to be taken only by yourself. Kindly review Seneca’s Academic Integrity Policy linked below. The length of the exam will be 1 hour in length. (the time is adjusted for students with accommodations) The exam is worth 20% of your final grade. There will be approximately 40 questions (multiple choice), each question is worth 1 point. NOTE: depending on your class, there might be several short answer questions and fewer multiple choice questions. The exam will be accessible on blackboard. The exam will be available for a 22 hour period starting at 1am until 11pm (01:00h to 23:00h) on your regular class day. The 22 hour period is based on the current North American Eastern time zone where the college resides. You must take the exam within that 22 hour period. You will not be allowed to start the exam AFTER 10:30pm Eastern Time We cannot proctor the exam, therefore the exam will be considered to be open book & open notes only. The questions will be randomly chosen, so no exams will be identical. The exam grades will be posted once all students have completed the exam and the results have been reviewed. Most likely posted the week following the exam. NOTE: No Backtracking. You cannot go back to a question. You must answer each question as it is presented to you. Content: The exam will include all topics covered in the first 6 weeks of the course. Exam questions usually come from the tutorial slides, recorded discussions and the worksheets. The readings are there to provide extra information to help students understand the concepts presented in the tutorial slides and to fill in gaps. There will be no math or computations required, therefore no calculator is needed for the exam.
