Discussion Topic
Before initiating any change plan or strategy, an organization must build a group of key employees who see themselves as vital to the overall success of the organization.
How do we get employees to see themselves as valuable corporate resources who are capable of embracing change? How do we build this group of key employees?
Before you begin this discussion, make sure to watch this 30-second video about change management teams in the introduction above.
In your original post, answer the following:
What motivates you? What makes you want to do your very best?
Do you consider yourself to be a "key employee" where you work or a key person in any organization where you are a member? Why or why not?
What two points in the video might help you to create a group of key employees (a team of change agents) who would help you facilitate a plan for change?
Assume you are in charge of a plan for change where you work. How would you go about motivating and rewarding your people to participate in a plan for change?
In your responses to your classmates, address the following:
Compare and contrast their plan for creating a team of change agents with your plan.
