InstructionHealth Law Debate Paper: Your persuasive, debate paper is over your assigned debate topic. It is an individual assignment. You are not required to complete an outline, but you are encouraged to use the outline template on Blackboard to guide your research and writing. Do your best on the draft as it will be averaged into your final paper score as described in the syllabus. Please avoid platitudes such as, “death is sad,” “disease is bad,” &/ “Americans disagree on this topic/issue.” Please do not write your opinions, instead use persuasive facts. Please avoid “I/we/us” and opt for community members, Americans, citizens, or people instead. Remember the rules for the oral debate are very different but will involve the same topic and research. Be sure to follow the specific requirements in the checklist below. Please don’t hesitate to stop by during office hours or email me with any questions.
