• BODY: Flow should be logical and transitions should be smooth
• CONCLUSION: Summary/Wrap up should be within the time limit; Call for action if appropriate; Ask for questions & give answers
2 VOICE (should be clear, confident, loud, with a steady pace and showing presenter ’enthusiasm for and knowledge of the subject)
• Expressive

3 PHYSICAL PRESENCE (should show the ability to interact and to engage the audience; good use of non-verbal communication)• Head Up; tune into your audience• Eye contact; look at audience members• Gestures/Movement; come out from behind lectern• Smile and come across as a warm, friendly, credible presenter• Appearance: presenters should be dressed according to the guidelines for “business casual”
4 LANGUAGE (level and terminology should be appropriate to this audience; explanations should be clear, concise, and logical)• Word Choice: Language should be fairly formal; avoid slang• Technical terms should be defined• Filler Words (Uh, O.K., basically) should be avoided if possible• Sentences (Short & Simple; Declarative; don’t turn statements into questions by raising pitch at the end)
