Taxes and Insurance (Chapter 12)
Overview:
The topic of taxes is interesting and stimulating, and it sometimes generates an emotional discussion. Occasionally there are some local tax issues relevant to this topic that may be discussed with your instructor.
The coverage of income tax is merely introductory but gives you excellent guidance in working with an individual or joint income tax return. Understanding terminology and the use of tables are two key goals.
Also, the students should become well aware of their current and future insurance needs, the types of insurance coverage available, and the various insurance options are essential knowledge for the business person.
