(See attached instructions) I need the Moment distribution of frame calculated and elastic / plastic analysis. 1- Use the moment distribution method of elastic analysis to find the value of the force P that will cause first yield to take place. Ignore buckling due to axial load, and also ignore lateral torsional buckling due to bending. Draw the bending moment diagram based on this value of P, showing the key moment values. 2- Use plastic analysis methods to calculate the value of P that is required for collapse to take place. Draw the bending moment diagram at the onset of collapse, showing the key moment values

  • Hi Yes I have received - have you carried out the moment distribution - I dont see a moment distribution table anywhere at all nor any bending moment diagram for Q1 Same can be said for question 2 really I have 10 pages of calculations for Q1 that I have done myself and I dont feel this has anyway completed the task Thanks Can you post the images on here too
