Annotated bibliography - 10 Journal Articles
There are three steps (Summary, Context, Topic Relevance) to complete for each annotation in the annotated bibliography of 10 items.
I will tell you which Journal Articles to use from.
Each annotated bibliography should be between 200-300 words. (2000-2500 words altogether) Must be in APA 6th formatting and no plagiarism.
1. Summary: Write a concise summary in your own words with in-text referencing of the major themes or scope of the work including the conclusions the author(s) came up. Be selective and identify key themes (theories, concepts or ideas in the literature) that are important to your topic, rather than all the key themes in the article. (Note present the ideas here, connect to your project in the final paragraph step three). What is this article about? The key points & Major themes? Include direct quotes/in quotes with page number. (approximately 100words)
2. Context: Locate where the article/chapter is situated (the context), describe the methods/methodology, and identify the connection to theory. Location-country? Organisation? Participants? Method? Include Direct In-text APA/Indirect In-text APA (approx 50 words)
3. Relevance: Emphasise the relevance of this article to your topic. Identify how the context, methods and theory in this article relates to your hospitality organisation and topic (approx. 100words)
