You are to research, investigate, and develop a technical research paper. The goal of this paper is for you to investigate a product/invention that you have NO IDEA HOW IT WORKS!! In the paper you will discuss the history of the items development (who, when, where,), the societal need it served (why), and describe in FULL DETAIL the products design/operation (how) and the associated design processes (problem, ideas, concepts, testing) that aided in the development of this product. There are (2) subjects to choose from, and you only need to investigate one of them: 1 - "How Stuff Works" website (www.howstuffworks.com) for an invention/product 2 - "Nature in Design" (Biomimicry) Paper formating guidelines: 10-12 pt. font (Arial or Times New Roman) Include a cover page 3 full pages minimum and 4 full pages maximum (does not include cover sheet & references) Double spaced Reference or Bibliography Page APA Format It should be 2 pages single spaced and once it comes spaced it suppose to be 4 pages
