General Psych Course Paper Instructions First, you will describe your disorder in detail. What is the history behind your disorder?What are the criteria for diagnosis of this disorder?What population(s) is most affected by the disorder?When is onset of the disorder most common?What are some common treatments for this disorder?What is the prognosis? Likelihood to overcome the disorder? Additional facts youd like to add. Second, you must thoroughly research your topic with valid sources. You will need at least three research articles on the subject. These research articles must be from the professional psychology literature, and must be from peer-reviewed journals. Third, compare and contrast the findings of the three research studies. (i.e., Did the information provided in the three articles agree?, disagree?, offer new insight?) Also, be sure to include how this knowledge can be applied to your life and to others. What are the most important things you found? **Choose something that interests you so that you can learn more about it!
