Hello there!
I need help please with a project for my ((Material Science)) class. My professor is VERY VERY strict and smart. So please I need you to READ the instruction of the project that I uploaded VERY carefully and stick to it.
*****Make sure it's a HIGH SCHOOL level. AND simple so, He doesn't get suspicious.

For farther questions or concerns please feel free to contact me here.

THANK YOU!! =)

Hallo
$60.00
  • I am a mechanical engineer and this is one of the units you do.. So I have great experience to work on it
    phoniextutor | May 05, 2015, 05:05 AM
  • It will be the best a d trust me, your professor won't know anything.. I mainly specialise in engineering homework because I am an engineer myself.. So trust me you got the best man for this job
    phoniextutor | May 05, 2015, 05:07 AM
  • So can I kindly work on it please
    phoniextutor | May 05, 2015, 05:09 AM
  • Well to let you know that the points of the project will either make me pass the class or fail it.
    User_6990 | May 05, 2015, 05:55 AM
  • No problem sir.. I have that in. In already.. You will get the best
    phoniextutor | May 05, 2015, 05:59 AM
  • Thanks
    phoniextutor | May 05, 2015, 06:32 AM
  • And kindly if I deliver a smart job.. Kindly release funds please.. Expecting some good review from you.. Let me resume work. It's due on 8th..right??

  • Regarding the (( Introduction )) [[[[The introduction has to be 4 paragraphs]]]] *** ((First Paragraph)) Significance/ Importance/ Quality in life. "why would I care?" { source }. (4-5 Sentences). *** ((Second Paragraph)) Background/ Known. "Explain prosthetic & The Design of prosthetic" **Note** the Explanation and the Design of that material have to be VERY simple like you explaining it to mom or any random person. (8 Sentences) ***((Third Paragraph)) Unknowns/ Problems. "What don't you know?" [something interesting]. (2-3 Sentences). ***((Forth Paragraph)) Purpose. "The Purpose of this report is to select a material to............" (1-2 Sentences)

  • Today our professor emailed us with 6 common questions that he got from most of the students and he tried to answer all of them. I'm going to post it here so you can look at it as a double check if you don't mind .

  • 1. Hey Dr. Y, you're the greatest. How does the modulus relate to force translation? When I ride on an aluminum bike i feel alot more of the surface impacts then with steel, and my assumption is that the higher rhe modulus the less the translation of force is less. - Typically the translation of force or impact (like hitting a bump) is directly related to the stiffness of the system. For this project, the overall stiffness of a system will depend on two factors: (1) the modulus of your prosthetic and (2) the thickness of your prosthetic. An easy way to evaluate the stiffness of your system is to look at the deflection when the person is standing still. A high modulus and thickness will be really stiff, while a low modulus and thin prosthetic will deflect more. As to your bike analogy, that is most likely all dependent on the shock of your bike and not the material of the frame.

  • 2. Dr. Y (aka. my favorite professor). Just a quick and possibly dumb question. When you talked about the introduction of our paper you noted that we should write about unkowns/problems. Are these the unknowns and problems I plan to answer in the paper or are they generalized statements that are beyond the scope of this paper? - Stick to the unknowns you plan to answer/discuss in your report. Remember, the purpose of discussing the unknowns is so you can easily create the purpose of your paper. If you bring up things like vendor costs and how the prosthetic attaches to the patient, it is unlikely you will discuss these topics in the paper. The reader then will be interested in these topics, which you will ignore for the rest of the paper. This will likely annoy the reader and violate my #1 rule of writing (i.e. don't piss off the reader/reviewer). It would be a lot like the TV show Lost, which introduced a bunch of unknowns and questions and never answered them in the end. I mean, what the hell was that about? I mean, what was the point of the black smoke creature? 3. Dear Dr. Y. I'm trying to do my calculations for my project. I see that the equation sheet has four different R's: Ro, Ri, Rc, and Rn. Ri is given as 12.5 cm and is specified and I see the diagram for Ro. Is Ro arbitrary? What are Rc and Rn? Lastly, how is it you teach so well compared to the other professors? - I wouldn't say that Ro is arbitrary, but you do have a choice in that matter. I prefer to think in terms of thickness instead of Ro. For example, if the thickness of your design is 1 cm, your Ro is simply Ri + 1 cm. It is up to you to decide what range of thickness values are acceptable. Do you think the first person to design this type of implant had someone tell them what the thickness had to be ? As an engineer, you get to decide. Rc is simply the average of the inner and outer radius (i.e. radius to the center of the implant). Rn is a little trickier, it doesn't have a simple meaning. It is used to help simplify the stress equation. You could just rewrite the stress equation and plug in the formula for Rn, but it would look a lot messier. To answer your last question, it's because I care so much.

  • 4. I can't get any of the units to work out for any of the equations and i'm what I think is reasonable answers but the units don't work so I have no idea if it's right. I calculate my weight by multiplying cross sectional area by the perimeter of the semi circle and the multiplying that by density, which gives me units of kg. I multiply that by gravity to get it into weight and plug it into the moment of inertial formula. When I multiply weight by (R0-Ri)^3 I get units of gkm^4/s^2 which doesn't make any sense. It should be m or cm^4. When I use those units and put it into deflection I get some crazy ass units. If i ignore units it seems like im getting a reasonable answer but I don't know if it just happened to work out that way or if it's right. If you could point me to where I'm going wrong here I would appreciate it. You're always really good at explaining things. - Goo! Let's take a step back for a second. To calculate the overall weight of the prosthetic, take the cross-sectional area and multiply it by the width of the materail (w). That cross-sectional area can simply be calculated as A = pi*center diameter*thickness/2 ( or A= pi*Rc*thickness). Now as to the moment of inertia equation, the "w" in the equation is not weight! It is width! Moment on inertia is always measured in m^4 (as you mentioned). That should help! 5. Sir, I have been working on the project but I came to realize that I could not figure out Ro. This is what I thought that since Ri=12.5 and to find Ro is to add Ri + the thickness of material that I selected. I also need the definition of Rn and Rc. - Please see above. Rc is the center radius. Rn is just used to make the stress equation easier to write. 6. This is along the same lines as the previous homework for which you returned points on the difficulty of discerning fine increments on the graphs needed to reach a correct answer. I finished the next homework, and one of them, the second from the last if I remember, has this same issue. Question asked for materials above 70 Modulus and less than 20 density. I used a ruler to make lines and my first answer selected CFRP and glass. Apparently the correct answer is only CFRP. However glass, at least with my lines using a metric ruler to mark out distance hash-marks from the left side of the graph, included glass. The questions even said "if the material lies on the line, include it." So, if glass isn't on the line it's within a half millimeter....sounds like they're splitting hairs with us again! At least your exams are so much better than the HW. I love the True/False/Maybe. - Damn Mastering Engineering. Thanks for the heads up! And I love the T/F/M too! I think that answers them all!

  • Introduction Do you descibe the significance/importance of trans-tibial prosthetics? Do you generally describe the prosthetic design as well as design constraints? Do you inform the reader what is unknown about the prosthetic design? Do you end with a clear statement of purpose? Could a non-engineer read your Introduction and not get confused? Materials & Methods Do you list 10 materials of widely varying properties? Is it clear how you tested for deflection and fatigue by providing equations and a rational approach to apply to all of the materials? Do not show detailed calculations for all 10 materials If a ranking table was used, how did you assign values to materials? If certain material properties were unknown, what assumptions did you make? Results Are the graphs and tables formatted clearly (i.e. look for pretty points)? When describing figures, does the text pass the "telephone test"? When describing tables, do you compare the data rather than retyping the exact values from the table? Did you present that facts without giving your own personal opinion?
