During the semester, I will provide you with a narrative
describing a client’s condition and background. After consulting our text and the diagnostic criteria included in the DSM (which can be found in our college library and in
most college libraries), you will be required to provide a diagnosis of the client including your rationale based on the client’s reported symptoms as they match the DSM diagnostic criteria. You will also be required to provide a proposed treatment plan for this client using the planning and implementing treatment guidelines discussed at the
end of chapter 2.
