Remember: Topics that are not acceptable: biographies of famous individuals; travel papers this includes papers on vacation spots, places, cities, countries, or nations; papers on health; papers on controversial issues (abortion, gun control, gay marriage, and so forth); process analysis or instruction type papers (i.e. "how-to" papers).

Students are required to use the first-person perspective for this assignment. For example: Even though it seemed frivolous, Ive found an iPad to be a good investment because I use it for work, for my kids school, and for entertainment.

APA Documentation: three sources from the eLibrary databases must be used in this essay.
Proper APA citations for any quoted or paraphrased words must be used in the essay content. A references page must be created which provides the complete information on the sources used within the essay. Review the attached sample essay for formatting of the reference page and models of in-text citations.
Using the outline that you've developed, write a rough draft of your documented essay. Use the drafting techniques discussed in our textbooks to assist you. Make sure that you have a clearly defined introduction, thesis statement, body paragraphs, and conclusion.
