"Building on the ethical principles you've learned about in this chapter, develop guidelines to help
you
decide when to speak or remain silent when confronted with dilemmas. That is, choose among ethical principles or combine them as you see, then shape them into a personal approach. Argue in support of this approach, showing its strengths/and acknowledging its weaknesses/as you apply it to some or all of the cases just mentioned."
Here are some ethical dilemmas you can write on...
"Would you tell if you saw someone being bullied"
"Would you speak up if you saw a friend abuse an animal?"
"Would you tell if you saw a friend cheating on a test?"
"Would you tell if you saw a friend doing an illegal drug?"
"What would you do if you heard someone use an ethnic, racial, homophobic, or sexist slur?"
"Should a coach or another adult tell someone they can make it to the top when the coach or adult doesnt believe it to be true?"
"Should parents always tell their children the truth?"
(any questions feel free to ask)
