1. Evaluation of the Possible Success of Product, including Market Size and Sales Estimates.
2. Characteristics of the Possible Market and Market Segmentation.
3. Description, Characteristics and Analysis of Competition.
4. Distribution Strategy for the Product.
5. Advertising, Promotion and Media Strategy to be used to Communicate the Product. /////MY PART/////
6. Pricing Strategy.
7. Recommendations: based on the above, recommend that the company either market or not market the product. Support your decision either way.
The written report should be submitted and presented by all teams on the dates scheduled.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR MY PART:

Advertising, Promotion and Media Strategy to be used to sell the Product
7.4 Promotion
(this portion will rely on the finding of many other sections, and thus may end up with very little time to be completed if others arent prompt.)
to promote our product, company must consider several things. For each item, give detailed explanations, context, and reasons: overall communication message that is suited to the local culture; pull or push; type of promotion; media to be used; branding; dealer incentives; trade shows, etc.; communication extension vs. adaptation (see guide 7.4)
do we need to change the message and media strategy from the one in the US? Why? What should be changed?
What characteristics should advertising exhibit? Which cultural attributes need to be accommodated?
How should we approach our target market? How will we communicate our positioning? What company goals will be communicated and how?

Starbucks is a status symbol in Turkey, so we should play to that. People want to be seen in the store, or with a starbucks cup on the street (find a source). Perhaps our product in the grocery store should be packaged in a paper starbucks cup for people to use?
8.0 Planning Budget (for promotion, specifically. Collaborate with other members on factors what would impact budgets)
per the teacher, it could be in general since obviously you nor I have the elements to see if its correct or not. So dont worry much about it. aka, you dont need actual numbers for this one
Consider which cultural, political, etc (PESTLE) factors would affect the budget for promotions and why. Have fun with it.
8.1 Assumptions: consider possible important developments or environmental conditions beyond our control.
8.4 Sensitvity/Scenario Analysis: describe your opinion of what the best case and worst case scenarios would be. Identify changes and assumptions in each and use the same structure as your previous (most likely) scenario.
