  • Because domain 4 is about assessment, make sure when you talk about your three lesson plans you relate them back to the element you have chosen (the purpose of assessment). Also, get away from saying things like "us" when talking about the lesson plans. The plans are for the students. Maybe a better option would be to say that "the plan (or whatever) is for the students to learn about X through Y, and they would be assessed in this way...." I liked how you gave some ideas on how to keep the students motivated, but you don't really say that you're assessing them on doing the reading. Stick to your topic :). (Although I do like your point about the benefit of using computers, maybe talk about their usefulness in assessing your students' work, like they can submit online etc). For the second piece of evidence, how does the lesson plan (which you might want to rename as it is similarly named to your first evidence) promote "Use performance-based assessment tools and tasks that measure ELLs' progress toward state and national standards." ? Again, you need to keep on track and talk more about this in your paper. Also, don't forget to write yourself a conclusion!
