For this project you will be conducting an interview with a person that you believe might use some aspect of statistics in their occupation. Select someone to interview. It could be someone you work with, do business with or maybe someone with a job you find interesting. Plan out at least 5 questions you want to use for your interview. Your primary goal is find specific areas of statistics that are used in different types of jobs. The write-up of your interview should include an introduction of the person, including their position and company, and all relevant questions and responses. (Note: 5 yes or no questions does not constitute a good interview! Try to get specific examples and details.) Some possible questions to get you started (but dont feel limited to just these): How do you use statistics in your job? What type of data do you keep track of and how do you use it? What types of tables or graphs do you use to report data to others? What background in statistics is required to obtain a job like yours? What are the most important skills for college students to learn?
