(You should listen 1hour recording file) The course shall visit a variety of Professional Architecture Offices to ascertain the ideals and methods used by Chicago Architecture Firms in their professional commitment to their clients and the general public. Students will also have an individual (or more) determined by participating firms, to assist the student with their immersion into the Chicago Architecture "community". Students are to attend each firm visit and record their observations and write a single page paper on the ideals communicated by the firms and their methods for delivering these ideals to their clients and to the public.

The firm does its own interior design as the architects at Nagle Hartray have the highest levels of qualification and this allows the firm to create excellent designs for their clients regardless of the specifications required. The structure at the firm is in such a way that allows more interaction between the young graduates who are entering the market and the experienced architects who have created designs for a variety of clients. This type of mentoring is actively encouraged by the organization as was stated by the design director. An empathetic approach allows the firm to gain approval by most of the clients they work with, as they are genuinely interested in knowing every little detail that the client wants to be included in the project. This explains why the design director claimed that they do not have repeat clients for the same project, as any design undertaken by the firm is of excellent quality with no need for revision or future renovation. It is an aspect of their work that is determined by integrity and it enables the firm to adapt to emerging challenges while regularly ensuring that their projects are of the best possible quality in design. Engaging the client and the public in design is another ideal of the firm that sets them apart from other design firms in the field of architecture.

You should talk about small firm. size of firm. real value, In terms of methods, this firm works as a small firm. please talk about their process, mentoring each other. relationship between senior architect and young architect. they work together, not separately, strong mentoring. very collaborate, not divided.etc why they keep small firm.
