  • I have attached the report
    User_366 | Apr 17, 2012, 11:36 AM
  • 2. Next use Multisim to design the circuit below using the 74164 IC, an 8-bit Serial-in, parallel-out Shift Register. Run, and test the circuit. (Be sure to watch the waveforms as they appear.) Change the logic level of each of the switches (Clear, S1 and S2) and determine the functionality of each switch. Explain the circuit. you forget to answer this question too ,, and you didnt send me the circuit that you designed ,,
    User_841 | Apr 17, 2012, 11:41 AM
  • Brother,I performed this in another computer at work and my files are located over there,I emailed the files to myself but the multisim file got corrupted I guess. I will send you the multisim files by 11 at night!! in meantime you may suggest me any changes you want in this assignment ,and I am confident you will get A grade in it :)
    User_366 | Apr 17, 2012, 11:41 AM
  • ok ill be waiting for he multisim file + you need to answer question 2 which is ( Next use Multisim to design the circuit below using the 74164 IC, an 8-bit Serial-in, parallel-out Shift Register. Run, and test the circuit. (Be sure to watch the waveforms as they appear.) Change the logic level of each of the switches (Clear, S1 and S2) and determine the functionality of each switch. Explain the circuit.) check the file i uploaded ,,
    User_841 | Apr 17, 2012, 11:45 AM
  • And about the 2. question ,the explaination named Q 1) is for this circuit ,and for 1) It is only simulink files no explaination was required for it
    User_366 | Apr 17, 2012, 11:46 AM
  • I hope it clarifies and don`t worry ,I will make revision ,so it is easy for you to submit it straight forwardly ;) do feel free to ask me for anyother thing you think is missing or should be done . I want your A in this homework
    User_366 | Apr 17, 2012, 11:50 AM
  • so in the file you gave me in Q1) 1. Create a synchronous, 4-bit serial-in, parallel-out, shift register using J-K active-low flip-flops (7476). Design and simulate your circuit using Multisim. is this the answer >>(If both A and B are high 1 is set on the MSB and all the other bits are shifted to the right. If any of A or B are low 0 is set on the MSB and all the other bits are shifted to the right. Above both functions happen only when the Clear input is high. If Clear input is getting a low signal the shift register outputs 0. The probes at the output are used to indicate the logic i.e. either the output bit is high or low. The probe lights up when the particular output bit is high. When Clear input is high and there is a positive edge on clock signal then we get the output.) and this question >> 2. Next use Multisim to design the circuit below using the 74164 IC, an 8-bit Serial-in, parallel-out Shift Register.Run, and test the circuit. (Be sure to watch the waveforms as they appear.)Change the logic level of each of the switches (Clear, S1 and S2) and determine the functionality of each switch. Explain the circuit. is the answer for it (the schedule )
    User_841 | Apr 17, 2012, 11:56 AM
  • I uploaded another version of it ,,i hope it makes it clear :) now only files are left
    User_366 | Apr 17, 2012, 12:06 PM
  • that was so much clear .. so you going to send me the circuit for the Q1) the jk flip flop , and also the circuit for the last part right ,,?
    User_841 | Apr 17, 2012, 12:16 PM
  • Yeah circuit for Question1 and Question 2. and for the question on last page , circuit is not required but I will send it to you as well ,as I have made that one too but the assignment doesn`t demand it ,so you may like to forward only 2 :)
    User_366 | Apr 17, 2012, 12:21 PM
  • ok just send me all of them and i will be waiting for it . .
    User_841 | Apr 17, 2012, 12:23 PM
  • Sent :)
    User_366 | Apr 17, 2012, 21:29 PM

    User_366 | Apr 17, 2012, 23:38 PM
  • brother the circuits does not open .. please change it to multisim so i can open because i need to cope the first circuit and added to the report as well as i have to send it to my instructor so he can check it ,
    User_841 | Apr 18, 2012, 12:34 PM
  • brother,i tried again and .msm is the file extension supported by multisim ,and these files open with my multisim. http://books.google.com.pk/books?id=5QFkHFvjbDQC&pg=PA36&lpg=PA36&dq=msm+files+multisim&source=bl&ots=v8Mz7r0f47&sig=3R_QXhZcnyM4ptPEfbJqLJIuibg&hl=en&sa=X&ei=2yGPT_PyKMXf4QTAjp2uDw&ved=0CEsQ6AEwBQ#v=onepage&q=msm%20files%20multisim&f=false
    User_366 | Apr 18, 2012, 13:21 PM
  • Multisim (Circuit Diagram) by National Instruments Corporation ,,,,,please make sure you are using MULTISIM(CIRCUIT DIAGRAM) and I am sure if you send these files to instructor he will be able to view it and mark it .
    User_366 | Apr 18, 2012, 13:22 PM
  • ok would you mind to send me a picture of the first circuit so i add it to my report and i will send the circuits to my instructor .. or can you do me a full report just like the previous one you sent me and add the picture on the the first question of the circuit ..
    User_841 | Apr 18, 2012, 14:02 PM
  • Brother i tried to run the circuit using (Multisim 11.0) in school lab but it didnt work .. and i emailed myinstructure and he said it didnt open either it has to be in (.ms11) form .. please let me know ..
