To put in written from five steps in the problem solving pattern.
select a problem from your past that you have already solved, preferably in a job, in a hobby, with a government agency, or in school. Avoid personal and family problems. Present the five step process you went through to solve it although you might not have done 5--the evaluation--until this assignment.
1.The Situation: a descriptive or comparison and / or contrast paragraph.
2. The Problem: a cause/effect paragraph with emphasis on the cause.
3. The Solution: an argument paragraph.
4.The Result: a cause/ effect paragraph with emphasis on the effect.
5.The Evaluation: a descriptive or argument paragraph.
Underline and label: 1 appositive (See Essay 1 requirement), 1 subordinate clause. 1 relative clause. & 1 participle phrase. One point off of 12 for not doing each.
