In the past two weeks, we have discussed classical and contemporary variants of four theories: functionalism (Durkheim and Gans), conflict theory (Marx and Ehrenreich), cultural theories (Weber and Ritzer) and postmodernism (Foucault and Shearing and Sterring). Each of the theories we have read about addresses the issue of inequality in some way. In this essay, please compare the ways that three of the four theories do so. Please be sure that you do more than summarize each theory in turn. Emphasize the ways that they are similar and different from one another, and the places in which they agree and disagree. Also, the theories may emphasize different aspects of inequality. I encourage you to think about ways that they may fit together. ( you need to read 4 theory and make up an eassy)

  • man for this essay, the reading for the1_ conflict theory is Nickeled and Dimed which provide in a different homework. tell if you want. for the second theory the reading is underclass in America for the third theory (culture theory) the reading is MacDonald , which also provide in other new homework for the forth theroy Postmodernism i have to uploaded couple of pages and 20$ extra if i like the job ;D .
