were going to take a detailed look at the Analysis Competing Hypotheses (ACH) methodology as we apply it to an intelligence scenario based on a conflict between the Peoples Republic of China (PRC) and the Republic of China (Taiwan). ACH is a tool used to aid judgment on important issues requiring careful weighing of alternative explanations or conclusions.
