Rich Kids There are 50 children (5-7 years old) from rich families who were found in a school that was not significantly damaged, but there are issues with an unknown gas escaping from the school. The children have respiratory issues, and some are having some trouble breathing. They are 25 miles away from the treatment zone. Prison inmates 75 prison inmates rescued themselves from the collapsing prison building. They were confined in the grounds of the prison. Many of them have cuts and bruises, but there are too many of them to have a team of responders look at their injuries one at a time. A doctor from Italy who is a part of the team volunteers to help the prisoners, but he only speaks Italian. If the doctor stays to help, the medical triage team will be one person short, and treating patients will take longer. If the prisoners are helped, they could also help with the clean-up and setting up a better treatment hospital. Tent city leaders and their families There are 25 tent city leaders (and about 25 of their family members) who acted as first responders when the earthquake hit. They worked hard to restore order and helped to set up the triage area. Many of them are community leaders and are well known to the people who live in the triage area. 65 Workers Sixty-five (old and young) city residents who are working on setting up the hospital and going out and bringing in injured and sick residents from the outlying areas. These residents are the only link between the treatment hospital and the harder hit outlying areas. These residents are assisted by a church group (from the US) but they have refused any treatment for themselves. 4 of the group have already died from exposure to cholera.
