Watch the 60 Minutes interview of NBA player Jeremy Lin, in a segment titled Linsanity: Jeremy Lin's Rise to Stardom. In the 12-minute video that aired in April of 2013, Jeremy contends that one of the reasons he was overlooked as a college basketball recruit and in the NBA draft is that he did not meet the stereotypes of what a basketball player should be. Specifically, he contends that scouts overlooked him because he was Asian-American and perhaps because he was intelligent.
