My TOPIC The Women in the Continental Army My Thesis Roles has definitely changed, the Army was a place for men only, until women started passing themselves off as men to serve in the war. The women action on the home front and battlefield relieved men from their extra planning, mobilizing, and combating. The Women contributed a great deal in the army, they fought on the battlefield as well as off the battlefield. Hundreds of women lives has shifted from a housewife to a caregiver such as being nurses, laundresses, water bearers, cooks and companions to the male soldiers in the Continental Army.
