Hi there noor. I can get this done for you. I'd need some examples of how the instructor expects a test program. Please check out my feedback and let me know. Thanks

  • Did you mean that you want a program from my class ??
    User_2530 | Oct 28, 2012, 00:45 AM
  • Test programs can be written in a million different ways. I want an example of something your professor has given like a PowerPoint or pdf so i know how to write in the style he wants
    Homework_Nerd | Oct 28, 2012, 00:48 AM
  • I uploaded one of our assignments in the class
    User_2530 | Oct 28, 2012, 00:55 AM
  • Also, you have to write a comment for each code
    User_2530 | Oct 28, 2012, 00:56 AM
  • Shouldn't be a problem. Please assign it and I'll start on it in the morning. Thanks
    Homework_Nerd | Oct 28, 2012, 01:02 AM
  • OK
    User_2530 | Oct 28, 2012, 01:11 AM
  • How are you doing with the project ??
    User_2530 | Oct 31, 2012, 03:41 AM
  • Did you finish ??
    User_2530 | Oct 31, 2012, 12:18 PM
  • Could you told me? Did you finish ??
    User_2530 | Oct 31, 2012, 17:36 PM
  • Hey. Sorry I haven't had access to the internet or computer or proper internet after the storm. I'm from NY, so I'm only getting back into order now. My house is still a huge mess from the storm but i'm getting things in order. I'll definitely get it done on time, but i'm only starting this evening.
    Homework_Nerd | Jan 11, 2012, 09:42 AM
  • Sorry about that
    User_2530 | Jan 11, 2012, 13:00 PM

    User_2530 | Mar 11, 2012, 00:16 AM
  • Done! Thank you!
    Homework_Nerd | Mar 11, 2012, 11:01 AM
  • Bro, your project didn't work with me?! Did you test it before you send it ?!
    User_2530 | Mar 11, 2012, 16:07 PM
  • Could you recheck the codes and resend it to me ? I need it as soon as possible
    User_2530 | Mar 11, 2012, 17:43 PM
  • Hey noor. It is definitely working. What error areyou getting during compile? Can you send me a screenshot?
    Homework_Nerd | Mar 11, 2012, 18:02 PM
  • Make an empty project in Visual studio. Add existing item->Hangman.cpp in it. And place capitals.txt in the same folder where .vcproj file is.
    Homework_Nerd | Mar 11, 2012, 18:07 PM
  • I will try, then I will tell you
    User_2530 | Mar 11, 2012, 18:14 PM
  • could you explain to me how Do I add the capitals folder to the project?
    User_2530 | Apr 11, 2012, 17:19 PM
  • After creating the project, it makes a folder for the project. You need to put the file (Homework_Nerd3112012capitals.txt needs to be renamed to Capitals.txt) into the root folder....you'll see that's where the .vcproj is
    Homework_Nerd | Apr 11, 2012, 17:21 PM
  • My professore sent a new file for the capitals, give me you email, and I will send it to you. Because I don't under stand how to make it.
    User_2530 | Apr 11, 2012, 17:39 PM
  • homeworklinguist at gmail dot com
    Homework_Nerd | Apr 11, 2012, 17:41 PM
  • I send it on pdf file
    User_2530 | Apr 11, 2012, 17:47 PM
  • Why you didn,t make it?? Then send it to me
    User_2530 | Apr 11, 2012, 18:04 PM
  • I've already sent it to your email 10 minutes ago
    Homework_Nerd | Apr 11, 2012, 18:08 PM
  • I mean why you didn't add it to the project, because I don't understand what you said
    User_2530 | Apr 11, 2012, 18:11 PM
  • You can't "add" it to your project. You have to put the file into the folder where you created the project. You just need to find the project folder, and put the file in there
    Homework_Nerd | Apr 11, 2012, 18:13 PM
  • I put it, after that I open the project and it didn't work, I can't debug it. Did you test (debug) it ??
    User_2530 | Apr 11, 2012, 18:23 PM
  • If you has an iphone I can send a photo for you
    User_2530 | Apr 11, 2012, 18:26 PM
  • Take a screenshot using print screen and send to my email. Thanks
    User_217 | Apr 11, 2012, 18:35 PM
  • Who are you ?!
    User_2530 | Apr 11, 2012, 18:40 PM
  • Did you get the photo ?
    User_2530 | Apr 11, 2012, 19:02 PM
  • That's weird. The system screwed up, I sent the message but it wrote a different username. No I didn't receive the photo, please send again
    Homework_Nerd | Apr 11, 2012, 20:24 PM
  • I sent it again
    User_2530 | Apr 11, 2012, 20:48 PM
  • can you just upload it here? I don't see it yet
    Homework_Nerd | Apr 11, 2012, 20:52 PM
  • I uplod it
    User_2530 | Apr 11, 2012, 21:32 PM
  • did you see it ?
    User_2530 | Apr 11, 2012, 22:19 PM
  • Yes. I'm out at the moment. I'll check it when I get home.
    Homework_Nerd | Apr 11, 2012, 22:24 PM
  • Bro, i can't debug it yet, because I still have red line under #include <stdafx.h> and ("HANgMAN"), as it shown in the photo that I sent it to you yesterday.
    User_2530 | May 11, 2012, 19:38 PM
  • I want you to know that I'm working in visual Studio 2010
    User_2530 | May 11, 2012, 19:39 PM
  • bro, i deleted the two codes, and the program ran. But it just shown one capital ( the last capital on the file capital.txt), it didn't use another capital
    User_2530 | May 11, 2012, 20:00 PM
  • yes i'm using visual studio 2010. Did you follow my instructions? stdafx.h is a standard library that exists within VS2010
    Homework_Nerd | May 11, 2012, 20:00 PM
  • OH dude. The first code is commented out, hence the //. You weren't supposed to use that.
    Homework_Nerd | May 11, 2012, 20:03 PM
  • What about SetConsoleTitle("HANgMAN")?? I delet it too
    User_2530 | May 11, 2012, 20:07 PM
  • That's fine. Just delete that...it just makes the title HangMan. Just something fancy
    Homework_Nerd | May 11, 2012, 20:09 PM
  • Ok, what about the last problem??
    User_2530 | May 11, 2012, 20:19 PM
  • Can you show me the screenshot of your output? I don't fully understand your problem
    Homework_Nerd | Jun 11, 2012, 16:45 PM
  • The problem is that the computer asks for one capital for all games, it doesn't use the other capitals !!
    User_2530 | Jun 11, 2012, 16:51 PM
  • I uploaded a screenshot proving that mine works and it changes everytime you open it. Which capital does yours keep using? Are you sure you're using the right capitals file
    Homework_Nerd | Jun 11, 2012, 16:56 PM
  • the last capital (Zimbabwe). But you are using visual studio 2012 not 2010.
    User_2530 | Jun 11, 2012, 17:12 PM
  • Did you fix it ?
    User_2530 | Jun 11, 2012, 20:02 PM
  • bro, I have to submit it within 24 hours
    User_2530 | Jun 11, 2012, 20:40 PM
  • The code logic doesn't change regardless. Can you send me a screenshot of your program? And are you sure your capitals.txt is sitting in the right folder? I really can't help you out with this installation, the code is working perfectly and i've tested it on 2010.
    Homework_Nerd | Jun 11, 2012, 21:53 PM
  • I use the Capitals.txt that you sent it to me.
    User_2530 | Jun 11, 2012, 22:05 PM
  • Please, the screenshot so I can see what is going on. I really can't help you without seeing anything here
    Homework_Nerd | Jun 11, 2012, 22:19 PM
  • Ok
    User_2530 | Jun 11, 2012, 22:33 PM
  • I uploaded it
    User_2530 | Jun 11, 2012, 22:53 PM
  • How are you doing ?
    User_2530 | Jun 11, 2012, 23:53 PM
  • bro, could you tell me, how are you doing ?
    User_2530 | Jul 11, 2012, 01:51 AM
  • I fixed it. There's a bug in VS2010 with the pointers of a stream. It's now uploaded. Test it out
    Homework_Nerd | Jul 11, 2012, 09:13 AM
  • Thank you !!
