  • sorry poor report given i received only 7-15 points awarded this is from the instructor: I am not sure why you are calling them practicals. These are lab reports which should be written by you, following the guidelines given. For the hot/cold water: Requirements = materials needed; A stopwatch or thermometer was not needed and I do not see where you used them. You do not start with ice. -1 Safety comes before the procedure, after materials, and hot water is a safety hazard. -2 A table of results was required. I am not sure what you mean by random tests. -1 A paragraph explaining your results after the table was required. -1 The mpemba effect helps explain why hot freezes first and should of been mentioned. -1 For the slime: You have no objective. The viscous flow of fluids is not creating slime. -1 again, safety goes before procedure. Your procedure should of been a bit clearer. Cornstarch was put in a bowl, then two parts added to water.
