  • in critique to the article, I selected the part 1: the author's views toward the role that the clergies played in the course of struggle for social justice. particularly, i responded to the view that they(clergy) played a passive role. i responded that the Muslim community formed a human right lobby group called "Elijah Muhammad Muslim for Human Right." besides,I also made a reference to other history books that reveals that the Black people's church were targets by arsonist as retaliation. part2: author's view about the role of the Moderate White America. I countered his accusation that they(Moderate White Americans) existed as a threat for the African -American quest for freedom.
