Instruction
it's a statistics project
please, read carefully then see the attachment that include SUV Insurance data and many examples.
1. Study the data variables (the columns in your data set). Choose at least one Qualitative and two Quantitative variables that you would like to research and write about. Feel free to choose more variables to research if you want but you must have at least three. Make sure that the variables appear to have something in common with each other.
2. Use Microsoft Word to create a new file. In this file create a Project Title for your paper and a top level heading titled "Introduction"
3. In the Introduction, write a paragraph defining your population or sample, the total number in your population or sample (its the total # of rows in your data set), and explain the meaning of your data variables and how you plan to research them (qualitative, quantitative, central tendency, regression, etc, etc...). You must indicate which variables are qualitative and which are quantitative in your intro paragraph!! .
4. for your chosen Qualitative Data variables to create your Frequency Distribution Bar Chart, Relative Frequency Distribution Bar Chart, and Pie charts. Some Data sets are very large and require filtering out data that you don't want in order to chart the data that you want.
5. Copy and paste your minimum of three qualitative data charts into your paper under the new heading.
6. Create a new heading titled " Qualitative Analysis" right after your charts.
7. Write an Interpretive Analysis and Conclusion paragraph for each chart as done in the attachment example.pdf. Remember that a relative frequency chart and pie chart conveys identical information so Im only looking for two separate paragraphs here.
8. add a new section titled "Side By Side Bar Chart and Analysis". Create at least one Side-By Side bar chart from two of your chosen variables in your chosen datafile.
9. Create a new heading titled " Analysis and Interpretation" right after your Side-By-Side Bar Chart(s). Write a paragraph to analyze and interpret your charts(s).
10. When finished, go to your original data set post, and reply to your original post with an attachment of your project paper file for review. Do not create a separate post for your project paper file!!
11. Read at least one of your classmate's paper and reply with a critique that has not previously received a critique. The critique must be detailed and not glossy. The critique must show that you have read the paper. You are to kindly identify possible additons that can be made or kindly point out possible error's. You must incorporate the critique into your paper and repost it if you agree. If you dont agree state why you dont. If you are asked a question, you must stay in contact with the thread to answer the question about your paper. If you can't find any improvements, you must write a summary about what you read. Some examples of final Term Project Papers are given here: AgeofForeclosures.pdf , DoesWorkInfluenceDrinking.pdf (These examples are missing some sections that you are required to produce so please read all directions very carefully.)
