The summary should be formatted as such: Title of Piece Author Write a review of the article making sure to touch on the following areas within your one page summary: What are the authors main points? What evidence does he cite or use to support his argument? What counter arguments does he cite? Why does he argue against these? Advice: 1) make certain you write AT MINIMUM one full page summary for each reading assigned for a module. Use single spacing with Times New Roman 12-pt font. 2) make certain to format each summary as I show above. Start at the very top of the margin and do not use unnecessary spaces between paragraphs. 3) write all article summaries in the same MS Word document for each module, and insert a page break in between each one.
