Using at least 3 peer-reviewed journal articles, compare and contrast three religions views regarding family violence both the positive and negative viewpoints. Include any controversies over the interpretations of texts that may lead to religion related maltreatment, risk factors, and any psychological, sexual and neglectful maltreatment of family members. Also include the roles of religion and religiosity in child-rearing, protective roles, reduction of spousal maltreatment and their response to maltreatment towards family members.   • Professor changes I've looked at the final paper assignment and I'd like to make a few changes. First, let's limit the amount of religions you have to discuss to TWO rather than three. That way you can do more of a coherent compare and contrast. In addition, I would like to see TWO 'scholarly sources' for each religion rather than three. Now this is a little tricky. The assignment says peer reviewed articles. What that means is articles from a professional journal, so not just some random website that isn't accountable to a review process. So here's what I'd like to see: rather than try to find your two sources for each religion through scholarly journals (which I imagine will be difficult), get them from legitimate religious scholars. In other words, make sure the person you are sourcing is a legitimate scholar, not just from "Jason's website on religious differences" or something like that. For example, Reza Aslan is a legitimate, credentialed religious scholar, just to name one. Therefore I would take an interview with him (or someone like him), or even debate, as a legitimate resource.
