ALL questions in this quiz will be based on the following scenario:
No-Drip is a large and very busy plumbing company and referral service. Although the companys business hours are daily 8AM-6PM, three days a week the company offers after-hours emergency and referral service until 9PM. Three receptionists take turns manning the emergency after-hours phone line. When the calls come in, the receptionist on duty assesses the situation and either calls one of the companys own available plumbers to check things out or refers customers to another firm. Sally is one of the receptionists at No-Drip and this Wednesday night is her shift on the emergency line. When Sally started her shift at 3PM she was feeling fine. However, as the day went on she began to feel fluish. It was a very slow evening, with not a single phone call, which gave her plenty of time to finish her daily filing and tidy up around the office a bit. By 7PM she realized that she was getting a slight fever. She had told her best friend earlier that she was not feeling well. At 7:30PM her best friend called her and said that she was in her area picking up her son from swimming and could drive by to pick up Sally and take her home so that she would not have to take the bus. There is no punch clock or video security at No-Drip, so technically, no one would witness Sally going home early. Also, the emergency line has no voicemail, only a recording that tells people to call back during normal business hours. But Sally is conflicted as to whether she should take her friend up on her offer and leave over an hour early.
