Windshield and walking surveys can be used to assess general community needs to estimate the poverty level, for example or to examine more specific facets of the communitys physical, social, or economic character. Either or both can help you better understand either the community in general or a specific condition or aspect of it. For this assignment, you will need to complete a windshield (driving) or walking survey of your current neighborhood and community (where you are living at right now). Everyone defines their neighborhood and community differently. That is okay! Conduct a survey of what you define as your neighborhood and community. Once you've completed your survey, please answer the following on both your neighborhood and community in at least 250 words: What aspects of your built environment promote health? How? What aspects of your built environment discourage health? How? What larger structures or forces likely influence the composition of this built environment? How? Remember to cite all information that you used using APA formatting.
