There are two essays to write for this assignment. One is a minimum of 600 words and the other one is a minimum of 400 words. First essay: Read Chapter Four Hinduism in Invitation to World Religions, Jeffrey Brodd, et al., 2nd Edition, Oxford University Press, 2016 then choose from one the two questions: Q1: Write an essay which discusses how the concept of the avatar compares to concepts in other religious traditions concerning the divine presence on earth (e.g., Christianity on Jesus as the incarnation of God). Q2: Write an essay which identifies and explains the common core concepts in which most every Hindu believes, and elaborate on the place of these concepts and their interrelationship in the Hindu religious perspective. Second essay: I will post someones essay for you to choose. You have to write a critique essay whether you agree or disagree with he or her essay but please remember to use quotes from the reading materials or other reading material to support your agreement or disagreement. Lastly, I will post the samples for the first essay then later I will post the sample for second essay. Please read the sample and follow exactly how the essay should be written. I will also upload the chapter four reading materials in order for you to use quotes from it. If you want to use quotes from other reading materials, please dont forget to work cited it. Thanks!
