  • Our group learned from this project that teamwork is key. This project required all six of our members to be involved and get together to observe an atmosphere of a restaurant and reflect on it. It required us to all to focus on communication (294), take notes, make observations of the employee's workplace attitudes (114), and talk all of these as a group and be able to present our thoughts and experiences to our class. I believe as a group we learned that even though we may have started this semester as complete strangers, we now have learned many things about each other. We have learned about each of our strengths and weaknesses and what each member can bring to the table. This has helped because when it came time to presenting to project, we were all able to carry our weight and each speak upon a topic we assigned to ourselves, so that the work was even between the six of us, and reflect on it altogether at the front of the room. Teamwork was definitely learned as a group because nobody is perfect. No group is perfect. Our group specifically even had to deal with language barriers with some of our members, but that did not deter our ability to work well as a whole.
