First, provide the full quotes (including the source and the slide number) of the selected verse, the selected hadith, the selected pillar of Islam, the selected purpose of Islamic law, the selected difference between Islamic law and Western legal system, and the selected Islamic value so I can verify quickly the quotes and the sources while grading and writing feedback. Second, write a 250 to 350 word essay in which you explain the SIGNIFICANCE and RELEVANCE of your selections (the text of one verse, one hadith, one pillar of Islam, one purpose of Islamic law, one difference between Islamic law and Western legal system), and one value of Islamic ethics and their sources will not count towards the 250 to 350 words). Third, indicate briefly how at least ONE of your selections relates to at least ONE of the "Issues and Concerns" raised in the six short video clips (Western Muslims: Issues and Concerns). You must provide the number of the video or videos (1 to 6) and the minute or minutes (1 to 10) in which the "issue of concern" was discussed. Sources for homework assignments MUST be cited briefly and ONLY between parentheses in the text (for example, Shaykh Hamza Yusuf, video 5, minute 1) so I can verify them quickly while grading and providing feedback
