This is a 2 part assignment!! First part being a detailed topic outline The 8-10 page typewritten paper will focus on a topic involving political Islam and state and societal responses. The second part is a 8-10 page typewritten paper that will focus on a topic involving political Islam and state and societal responses. It must include an annotated bibliography of works cited (not included in the page count). The paper must reference, at least, EIGHT sources other than our texts and the BBC. Papers must identify/apply concepts, theories and themes addressed in Islamic politics. The topic in which this paper must discuss is the Bedouins of Arabic.

The following is the excerpt that I have previously attached for this class, therefore the paper should be along these lines:
The Bedouins of the middle east coincide a lot during the time period of pre/early Islam. Bedouins are known to the be traditional, nomadic group of Arabs that date back all the way to Prophet Muhammad. From a historical stand point, they were said to be founded in Jordan, and have spread all across the middle east; they can easily even be seen as a movement. This is because of their stubbornness and lack of conforming to the modern world. However, religiously, most of the Bedouins were either in pagan beliefs, or considered Christian since the early Islamic period. The early Islamic period is also known as the time of ignorance to the Bedouins. This is because they had not learned the knowledge of Islam. However, now a lot of the Bedouins are Sunni Muslims and the majority are now considered muslim. I like the historical religious context of this group of people. The traditional way of living, their view point, and how Islam helped shape them into this societal movement that they've indirectly become. I would like to personally know more about this topic, as well as explore this topic and extract the Islamic political stance.

  • You are days late past the due date I requested, and the whole point of this paper was to use a group and/or state hence, the bedouins being what I chose, and creating a compelling argument as to whether they are or aren't compatible with Islamic politics in the middle east and why, using references and etc.... That's not what you provided.
