I have a homework that I Have an article and questions
Answer the questions and by the answers do an essay
* Explain what questions were answered by the research studies. Was the population about which information was sought well defined in the question? Was the question one that can be answered by conducting an "experiment" of some sort and developing data?
*
* How did the researchers answer the questions? That is, what procedures were used to answer the questions? How did the researchers attempt to rule out other possible explanation for the experimental results, other than the experimental treatments?
*
* Explain your reasoning concerning whether or not you think the reaserchers used procedures that were reliable in answering the questions?
*
* Explain whether or not other possible variables, other than those the researchers concluded were responsible for the results, could have produced the study results.
*
* Explain whether or not the study was done in a manner that would lead you to change a lifestyle habit, if necessary, in order to avoid disease or sustain health? That is, was the study convincing enough to prompt you to make life changes?
*
* Do you think the study has been, or could have been, replicated (Redone in an identical manner) by other researchers? That is, do you think other researchers have conducted a similar study and gotten similar results? Explain.
Do you think it is possible for different researchers to yield conflicting results concerning these study questions? Explain
