For this project I would like you to write a paper and compare and contrast the advantages and disadvantages of having a global supply chain. Think about and include the following things The United States now has a new political agenda with respect to trade. The Trump administration has already meet with the Prime Minister of England about a trade agreement with the United Kingdom and is due to meet with the President of China during the first week of April and the President of Mexico the first week of May 2017. How could international politics affect a Supply Chain? How might the value of a nations currency affect a companys supply chain choices with regards to selecting suppliers? How does transportation cost affect the global supply chain? How does having a global supply chain affect marketing of a product? I want to remind all of you that this paper is to be your own original work. Your work will be checked for Plagiarism. There is no minimum # of pages for this assignment. However, the more fully and insightfully you cover your topics the better your grade will be. I do not want this to be a paper full of quotes from web sites or other books. Think about and research these topics and write about them from your stand point. You can have your own opinions but again you must back them up with facts.
