I need someone who could finish my statistics project using program "R." I have all the basic proposal written out, have the data, but i need someone who could write out programs and use right statistical tests to perform analysis on it. and basically finish my project. It's worth 50% of the course grade, so I need someone who can interact with me for two weeks and who are responsible. I say approximate time to finish this assignment is about 6~12 hrs depending on your background in R and statistics. I need help from who have strong background in statistics and program R. I can provide additional information to accomodate on finishing this project .

I uploaded my proposals and data, and R codes & lecture notes for my class. As you would know from reading my proposal I want to compare mcat vs gpa on acceptance, and see if there are other variables affecting or skewing the acceptance. As you would see from the lec notes, our class uses lots of stat tests such as multiple linear regression, logistic regression, principal component analysis, Lasso, etc. Please use those tests from lec notes and codes are mostly provided on what i attached so it will save your time.
I really need to do well on this project, so please let me know if you don't think you can do it good.
Also feel free to ask me any question while completing this, since this is a project it's understandable to have many questions on it.

hi, is my understanding is right? you are doing the project for the selection committee who can use this to analyse every candidate for acceptance based on mcat, gpa and others.

no i'm not doing this for selection committee, i'm just doing it for class project. and my project is to see whether GPA and MCAT scores are representative of getting in to med schools. and i believe that's not true, so i'm trying to see if other factors, such as whether you are URM(under represted minority) or have residency affect the rate of acceptance by using statistical test. Also I'm trying to see which, mcat or gpa, is more important on acceptance by comparing the different ranges of gpas and mcat scores by using statistical tests.

hey, i know the datas lil different. one i provided you is 2005-2007 correct but on website it's recent one. It's up to you which one you use but it's that 2005-2007 is nicely arranged in excel. I don't mind using either

yes that graph looks good but it'd be nicer to differentiate the lines by colors. Also tests that we could use are some t-test to test whether acceptance rates are same for two different groups: URM and non URM also simple tests for which one is more significant: MCAT or GPA and multiple linear regression for MCAT/ GPA/ URM that's what i can think of it now and I can further direct you with other tests this weekend. I'm learning principal regression analysis,Lasso in class, and i would see how i can i apply those statistical tests with my project. Thanks!

can you do multiple linear regression test and then do primary component analysis? and Lasso/ or ridge regression? are you familiar with these statistical tests?

oh.. i meant could you generate the graphs using R which are on on excel file of what i uploaded. I checked what you uploaded on excel, looks good but can you do that using R? also can you include some explanation of what you did/ what you analyzed so i can follow? thanks! i'm picking up my proposal revision friday, so i'll upload that too. the proposal has been extedned to may 15th!!

Hi, In MR analysis the data of URM / Non URM is considered as dummy variable and it supports less for your argument. Better if we go for PCA because it will show the importance of variables. There u can differentiate analysis considering URM/Non URM and analysis without it. Pls think over and reply me for to code.
