  • Hi, I just have a question on what's exact DragonBoard model you are using?
    ScholarPro | Oct 04, 2013, 14:02 PM
  • i think its called Dragon12 on-board , its the one that work with HC12 assembly programming. it look like this (https://www.google.com/search?hl=en&newwindow=1&q=hcs12%20dragon%20board&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=isch&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi&ei=UNZlUfDcNe7FiwK-0oDQAw&biw=979&bih=449&sei=ztZlUcTrFYnVigK84YCQDw#imgrc=QGjJw3cTRyy4lM%3A%3Bw4evx9DyX2_i3M%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.evbplus.com%252F9s12%252Fdragon12p_usb2_7.jpg%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.evbplus.com%252F9s12%252F9s12_hcs12.html%3B504%3B399)

  • it looks a great work , thank you so much , but for me to understand the parts of the code would you mind to tell me what part is what like by typing for example from this part to this it do multiplication and so on , plus im wondering what is the vector table , like should i included it in the code when i assemble it ? also im wondering if you can provide me with flow chart o the code if is possible. many thanks
    User_841 | Apr 13, 2013, 10:56 AM
  • Sure, I will do, but I don't know how urgent you require that? I will try to get back to you in 2-3 hour max. Hope that's fine.. Thanks
    ScholarPro | Apr 13, 2013, 11:05 AM
  • By the way, vector table lists all available vector interrupts and uses the RTI and RESET ones while do others are no-op
    ScholarPro | Apr 13, 2013, 11:08 AM
  • yes thats fine with me ill be waiting for you
    User_841 | Apr 13, 2013, 11:21 AM
  • I commented the whole calculator with side-by-side C constructs which are easy to understand, and I also provided pseudo-C high-level overview in main.c; Here's the file: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/78538175/main.c Vector table can be found here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/78538175/Vector%20Table.txt Going to do flowchart now.

  • Brother when you stimulate the code and run it to the dragon board how is the " location for number will be " is it going to be like the computer number keyboard or is like the calculator one ?
    User_841 | Apr 13, 2013, 13:14 PM
  • And when stimulating the code , should copy all the code you have me and paste it in Asmide , including the vector table ?
    User_841 | Apr 13, 2013, 13:16 PM
  • You don't do anything with the separate vector table I sent you (the txt file). It was just for your reference
    ScholarPro | Apr 13, 2013, 13:18 PM
  • What do you exactly mean by " location for number will be " is it going to be like the computer number keyboard or is like the calculator one ?
    ScholarPro | Apr 13, 2013, 13:20 PM
  • Would you mind to send me the code that I need to put only in "asmide " ?
    User_841 | Apr 13, 2013, 13:31 PM
  • https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/78538175/main.asm
    ScholarPro | Apr 13, 2013, 13:32 PM
  • I meant the location for the numbers on the dragon board , because I need to use the 12 bottons on the right of the dragon board , for example the bottom right botton is (#) and the middle is (0) , you got what I mean ?
    User_841 | Apr 13, 2013, 13:41 PM
  • I made my assumption based on the 4x4 96 series keypad..
    ScholarPro | Apr 13, 2013, 13:48 PM
  • I meant like when I run the code , does the numbers assigned in the dragon board ?
    User_841 | Apr 13, 2013, 14:11 PM
  • Now I got what you mean.. it's like calculator.. First raw 1,2,3.. Not like computer keyboard
    ScholarPro | Apr 13, 2013, 14:20 PM
  • Hi, hope everything's fine. Please let me know if you need any further help. Thanks
    ScholarPro | Apr 15, 2013, 10:56 AM
  • would you mind to tell me what part of the code is what for example from line 1 to line 15 its doing the multiplication part ..... and so on !
    User_841 | Apr 15, 2013, 12:03 PM
  • calc:is the starting function of the calculation. Then you can see addkey, subkey, mulkey, and divkey for addition, subtraction, multiplication and division respectively... eqkey represents equal sign.. do you mean these?
    ScholarPro | Apr 15, 2013, 12:07 PM
  • kool i got that part , for the LCD part there are many LCD part what does each part do?
    User_841 | Apr 15, 2013, 12:11 PM
  • also , do i have to include this in the code in the beginning ? ABSENTRY start INCLUDE 'mc9s12dp256.inc' ;CODE org $4000 start:
    User_841 | Apr 15, 2013, 12:13 PM
  • Yes, I believe so. It's required to initiate the calc. Do you want any supporting document to study the all codes? It may not be 100% required now, but it's good to have. Here I am sending for your reference: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/78538175/Source.pdf
    ScholarPro | Apr 15, 2013, 12:18 PM
  • when you download the code , what do you put to rub it to the dragon board ?
    User_841 | Apr 15, 2013, 13:39 PM
  • for example pc 1500 ..
    User_841 | Apr 15, 2013, 13:44 PM
  • What do you mean by rubbing
    ScholarPro | Apr 15, 2013, 14:02 PM
  • I meant when you download the code into the dragon board did you type and specific command in order for the board to work such as command pc 1500 ...? Or you just pressed download and then you test the board ?
    User_841 | Apr 15, 2013, 14:11 PM
  • As far as I know, you don't have to insert any further command, but I know that every DragonBoard has different sspecifications. On my board it worked in this way I provided you.
    ScholarPro | Apr 15, 2013, 14:23 PM
  • You can transfer pure text file to dragonboard
    ScholarPro | Apr 15, 2013, 14:24 PM
  • Hi, hope you are doing fine. I haven't heard from you for several days. Please let me know if everything's fine. I would also very much appreciate if you can release the payment, as I did not receive it since I provided you the codes. Thanks a lot
    ScholarPro | Apr 19, 2013, 06:41 AM
  • hey buddy i think you did a great job with the code , its i just don't get a chance to do my project because when i copied the code to the program it shows me a lot of errors that i need to fix and i have a specific time to fix it , so my Dr. saw that and he gave me an F , so im trying to talk with my chair department to see if i can solve the situation. mean while i will release the payment but before i do that i uploaded a quiz and i need your help with , please check it and let me know if you can do it? if you can go a head and will talk about the price when you done! because i need it on Monday maximum 4pm 22-april-2013 San Francoise time. thanks for your help buddy
    User_841 | Apr 21, 2013, 23:51 PM
  • Well, I cannot comment on your specific situation at school, and really sorry to hear, but I can comment on my work, as really spent a lot of time and effort, and checked it several times, and delivered it as functioning, but unfortunately I cannot make further changes, as I don't physically own the board you are working with. When it comes to your take home, I could surely help with it but given the insufficiency of time, I cannot commit to finish in 16 hours, as I have already scheduled my work for tomorrow, where I take several exams.
    ScholarPro | Apr 22, 2013, 00:05 AM
  • I understand that and that's why I said thank you for the great work and you did a great job :) for the quiz will you be able to do it if the time extended like Tuesday 23 April 2013 at 10:30 am or 11 am because my class is at 12:30 ?
    User_841 | Apr 22, 2013, 00:20 AM
  • Can't really promise, even though I really want to help you. However, I can only deliver in the weekend, due to my personal work during this week. On the other hand, you can post the project, and if you want I can try to recommend someone who can be able to help with your work.
    ScholarPro | Apr 22, 2013, 00:33 AM
  • buddy i posted my work who can you recommend me to do the work ?
    User_841 | Apr 22, 2013, 14:53 PM
  • let me check with my friend, whether he can do it or not.. I will get back to you within 1 hour. Talk to you soon..
    ScholarPro | Apr 22, 2013, 14:55 PM
  • Unfortunately I cannot reach him, I sent him an email, but probably he's sleeping as it's already past midnight. I can only let you know tomorrow, but I believe it will be already too late.
