CMIT 391 - Linux System Administration
(Designed to help prepare for the Linux Profession Institute Certification 1 [LPIC-1] exams.) Prerequisite: CMIT 265. A study of the Linux operating system. The goal is to configure and manage processes, user interfaces, device files, print facilities, file systems, task automation, the boot-up/shutdown sequence, disk storage, network connectivity, system security, users, and groups.
