Modify the Week Two console based, non-GUI Java application using NetBeans IDE to meet these additional and changed business requirements: The company has recently changed its total annual compensation policy to improve sales. A salesperson will continue to earn a fixed salary of $24000. The current sales target for every salesperson is $120000. The sales incentive will only start when 80% of the sales target is met. The current commission is 4.2% of total sales. If a salesperson exceeds the sales target, the commission will increase based on an acceleration factor. The acceleration factor is 1.6. The application should ask the user to enter annual sales, and it should display the total annual compensation. The application should also display a table of potential total annual compensation that the salesperson could have earned, in $5000 increments above the salesperson's annual sales, until it reaches 50% above the salesperson's annual sales. Sample Table: Assuming a total annual sales of $100,000, the table would be aligned similarly to this: Total Sales Total Compensation 100,000.00 calculated value goes here 105,000.00 calculated value goes here 110,000.00 calculated value goes here 115,000.00 calculated value goes here 120,000.00 calculated value goes here 125,000.00 calculated value goes here 130,000.00 calculated value goes here 135,000.00 calculated value goes here 140,000.00 calculated value goes here 145,000.00 calculated value goes here 150,000.00 calculated value goes here , obviously, the console doesn't have any provisions for borders and outlines; but arrange your text in two columns with headers. Align the decimal points, so that a person could add up the columns. Look in Class Messages for additional guidance on displaying tables as "Printing Requirements" or similar. The Java application should also meet these technical requirements: Follow constraints specified in Week 2 assignment. The source code must demonstrate the use of conditional and looping structures. Submit your Java application file using the Assignment Files tab.

  • Let me take a look
    kelvinrotich | May 22, 2017, 22:59 PM
  • From what I see week 3 is not graded. Are you referring to the output in your IDE?
    kelvinrotich | May 22, 2017, 23:01 PM
  • Yes it states. Error: Main method not found in class Salary, please define the main method as: public static void main(String[] args)
    User_11743 | May 22, 2017, 23:10 PM
  • It was fine when I executed it in my computer. Would a screenshot help? I can send one when I get home
    kelvinrotich | May 22, 2017, 23:12 PM
  • Must've been something I did
    User_11743 | May 22, 2017, 23:15 PM
  • Yeah, most likely that is the case
    kelvinrotich | May 22, 2017, 23:16 PM
  • I could not get the program to run, there were errors with multiple things. The main one stopping me from running the program was Main method not found in class. This is due to your public static void main(String[] args) being in the class AlvinLugo This is from a classmate
    User_11743 | May 22, 2017, 23:21 PM
  • Alright, I shall run it once I get home and send a screenshot. I shall investigate the matter with yours
    kelvinrotich | May 22, 2017, 23:23 PM
