Don't wait until the last minute to create your paper in one of the computer labs. Submitting a paper late because of problems in one of the computer labs is not an acceptable excuse.
If you use the labs to create your paper, you must save the paper to disk and email a copy of the finished paper to yourself before logging off of the lab computer. Lab computers are configured not to save files. If you log off before you save the paper to disk/USB and email the paper to yourself, you will lose it.
Once the content of your paper is assessed and graded, additional points will be deducted if your paper does not observe the format guidelines discussed above.
Finally, the following suggestions are designed to improve the way subjective assignments are graded.
