Instruction
Pick words from the lists you have accumulated thus far, but focus on the nouns, verbs, adverbs, and adjectives. You want at least one representative from each of those parts of speech for a total of six words. These will be the root words for your sestina. The point of the sestina is not clarity but to play with the words you have, to keep orbiting around the same root words and coming back to explore the images and meanings therein. It can tell a story but it does not have to. It can be nonsensical or quite serious or poignant.
