Complete the DBDL for the attached assignment using Word. After completing the DBDL, create the Database, tables, keys, relationships and diagram using SQL Server. Copy the Database diagram to the clipboard and paste it into the word document with the DBDL. Save the Word document as a .PDF file and submit to this assignment. You do not have to submit the database files just the .PDF file with the diagram and DBDL.

Hi. Sure, I would break down the tables as smallest possible components. Just wanted to validate my understanding of the problem statement here: The form being shown in the attachment represents the following details - 1. Advisor - name of the advisor, 2. Office - represents office location, 3. Date - date on which the advisor met the student, 4. Time - time at which the meeting took place, 5. Length - duration of the meeting, 6. StudentId - Id of the student, 7. StudentName - Name of the Student, 8. StudentEmail - Email Id of the student, 9. StudentPhone - Phone no. of student. Is my assumption correct for these fields?

Hi. Please find the attached paper. I've removed most of the alter database statements in database creation script. Also setting the ANSI encoding off/on has been removed, and now the statements are the minimal with which the database/tables can be created. Hope your professor will find it much more realistic. If you want, I can explain various relations between different tables/columns just in case your professor tries to cross-examine those from you. Thanks.

In order to receive full credit for this assignment it must include the DBDL. You will lose 30 points if you don't submit it. If you don't resubmit by the due date, I will assume you don't mind losing the 30 points. I'm also a little bit puzzled as to why this assignment was done in an older version of Word and then saved in a newer version? Please follow the directions as to the type of field you should be submitting. This is what my teacher wrote me. What does she mean?

Hi. That was my bad. I thought that providing the data model diagram and table/database creation scripts should suffice, but now after your teacher's comments, I've added some more aspects of DBDL (like listing tables/columns, underlining Primary Keys, showing Alternate Keys, Secondary and Foreign Keys.
