more clarifications: For this assignment we are supposed to write down how our museum manages the collections. So she wants us to explain how we record the objects in the collection. Do we use a database or a card catalog. Then she wants us to explain what kind of information we record in our database (title of object, date of purchase, date of manufacture, donor’s name, description of object, location of where we store the object, etc.). Lastly we need to describe our numbering system. In my write up, I said that the museum uses the 3 part numbering system.
