However, such a move will taint the reputation of the Executive director and make him loos the job that he already has an interview. The best move in this case is publishing the story and letting the public to have a clear picture of what happened. This move is per deontological ethics which insists on duty. Duty calls for the reporter to let the public have the truth without hiding. The reporter has an obligation to unearth the truth. Therefore the consequences to be suffered by the Executive Director are not to be considered.
