  • I've reread question number 6 and I think I did the right thing "Configurations of the indicated stereogenic centers are" You have already being given the structures we are only required to state the configurations of the indicated (already shown) stereogenic centers. This is my understanding or am I getting it wrong? Please clarify

  • Okay ; I used the same explanations as for question 3-checking the substituent with the highest atomic number/mass. If you do that you’ll realize that 3 has the highest followed by 2 and 1(2 and 1 have the same mass). When finding out the configuration we count from the highest to the lowest. So we are moving in anticlockwise direction. Thus, it’s an S configuration. This is my understanding but I stand to be corrected
